  • Mission

When animals become homeless through no fault of their own, Animals in Distress is here for them. We offer a non-judgmental service to owners who are no longer able to care for their pets; we simply take in the animals that need us and find secure and happy homes in which they can flourish.
  • Brief history

We are a rescue centre located between Newton Abbot and Totnes, and since 1981 we've been finding new, forever homes for thousands of homeless dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
