Working hard to provide safe haven and careful rehoming for abandoned and persecuted dogs in Romania. Working at ground level facilitate change in practices and attitudes in the local community.
  • Brief history

Founded as a lifeline for Romanian dogs in early 2014, BMDR became a UK charity in 2015. In Romania, abandoned dogs suffer from indifference to outright cruelty on a national scale. There is no state provision to turn to for help. By early 2016 BMDR established their own rescue shelter in Constanta.
