  • Mission

Based in Manchester, MedEquip4Kids improves the health of babies and children in the UK by providing equipment not available from limited NHS resources. Because we value all aspects of children’s wellbeing, we also deliver workshops in schools to support young people’s mental health.
  • Brief history

The charity was set up in 1985 by a couple after their daughter became seriously ill and was treated at Booth Hall Children’s Hospital. The hospital was unable to afford some vital items of equipment, and to show their gratitude, the couple began to raise funds to purchase the items.
