    Muscular Dystrophy UK brings individuals, families and professionals together to fight muscle-wasting conditions. We fund research on 60 rare and progressive muscle-weakening and wasting conditions, and provide physical and emotional support to the 70,000 affected children and adults in the UK.
  • Brief history

    Previously known as the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, we were founded in 1959 and have been leading the fight against muscle-wasting conditions since then.
