  • Mission

The Nystagmus Network is dedicated to supporting people affected by a complex eye condition characterised by involuntary eye movements called nystagmus by raising awareness of the condition and leading the research to find a potential treatment.
  • Brief history

The charity was founded in 1984 by Vivien Jones after her son was diagnosed with nystagmus at three months old. It has grown exponentially from very humble beginnings as a support group to the hi-tech digital presence of today, though the objectives remain the same: support, awareness, research.
