  • Mission

St Wilfrid’s provides care and services to all adults over the age of eighteen with any form of terminal illness. We want to see a community where people talk openly about dying, live well until the end of their life and where nobody dies alone, afraid or in pain.
  • Brief history

We were established in 1981 and began taking our first inpatients in 1983. In in 2013 we moved to the purpose-built building on Broadwater Way, equipped with a 20-bed Inpatient Unit and Wellbeing Centre. We now support over 2,000 individuals each year.
