  • Mission

St Wilfrid’s was established to promote the relief of sickness, in particular by providing care and services to all persons over the age of eighteen with cancer or any other disease, where it is felt that a cure is no longer possible and for whom only palliative treatment is available.
  • Brief history

We were established in 1981 and began taking our first inpatients in 1983. In in 2013 we moved to the purpose-built building on Broadwater Way, equipped with a 20-bed Inpatient Unit and Wellbeing Centre. We now support over 2,000 individuals each year.
