We provide end of life care and support for families and carers but demand for our services is increasing and up to 10 people are waiting for a bed every day
We are building a new Hospice to double the support we offer but still need to raise £1.5m of the £6m fundraising target set in 2017.
Once open our new Hospice will double its services to support more than 5,000 patients, families and carers in our community every year.
In 2020 we have several events and campaigns to encourage the community to support us and raise the remaining £1.5m including our biggest event - LAKEFEST on 6 June, a one day festival with 1500+ guests

How we succeed
A successful event will contribute to the £1.5m still needed for Raise the Roof to finish building and open our new Hospice in July 2020.
Our new hospice will increase our inpatient unit from 17 beds to 28 beds and increase our day services from 2 to 5 days a week, doubling our services.
Increasing awareness in the community will help with ongoing funding and allow the Hospice to support even more people into the future.
In the last year we cared for 2,500 patients, families and carers. We gave families time to be together and support during difficult times at end of life.
Thames Hospice is the local charity providing expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. A vital part of our work is also supporting their families and carers.
