  • Mission

Cavendish Cancer Care is an independent charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by cancer in South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We provide emotional, physical and practical support to patients and their families at all stages of the cancer journey.
  • Brief history

Established in 1991 Cavendish Cancer Care developed from the work of David Simons, a Sheffield dentist specialising in hypnosis in the management of patients’ pain, anxiety and fears who recognised the lack of safe, qualified and experienced support available for people affected by cancer.
